OPI GelColor Pale to the Chief & Red Lace Stamping

Good evening loves! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I'm loving the OPI Washington D.C. collection so far. I bought it all in gel and I'm tempted to buy it in regular polish. Here's OPI GelColor Pale to the Chief stamped using MoYou London Fashionista 17 in China Glaze Red-y & Willing.

Turquoise Nails with Madam Glam Gel Polish On My Way

Happy Saturday! I have some turquoise inspired nails to share with you today. I wore these on my vacation to Cancun in June. I used a beautiful turquoise shade from Madam Glam--On My Way. I did the gold sponging with China Glaze Mingle with Kringle and stamped using MoYou London Explorer 05 in Wet N Wild Black Creme. I love how these turned out! They wore so well that I wore them for a week after I came back from vacation. You can purchase this polish here for $19.95.

Lucky Nails with MoYou London Festive 21

Hi friends! St. Paddy's Day is coming up and that means I can finally use my plate from MoYou London that I got last year. Here's OPI I Cannoli Wear OPI stamped using MoYou London Festive 21 in Mundo de Unas Black. The green is OPI I'm Sooo Swamped and the gold is China Glaze I'm Not Lion. I lurrrve how these turned out! I used my new clear stamper from Fab Ur Nails and it would've taken me so much time and so many attempts to get this perfect placement, but instead it just took ONE. I can finally say bye to starting all over when I stamp over regular nail polish. Yay for clear stampers!

Valentine's Day Gradient & Hearts

Hello all! Valentine's Day is coming and I've been enjoying seeing everyone's themed manis lately. Today I have my first one for the month that I actually did in December. I started my gradient for a New Year's Eve mani and decided it was suited better for this occasion. I did the gradient with China Glaze Spring in My Step, China Glaze Petal to the Metal, China Glaze Strike a Rose, and Barry M Passion Fruit. I stamped with MoYou London Festive 20 in Mundo de Unas Black. My sister got me the Barry M polish on her trip to Scotland recently so I'm glad I found it a mani-home and finally have a Barry M polish in my collection.

Dry Brush New Year's Eve Mani

Hi loves! Here's my last mani of 2015 to share with you all. I won't actually be wearing this mani tonight, but I did it last week to test out my some new Bundle Monster plates I received for review. I used the dry brush technique for the first time and I quite liked it. It was simple and the end result was pretty cool.

I used China Glaze At Vase Value for the base and then did the dry brush strokes with China Glaze polishes: What a Pansy, Grass is Lime Greener, Peonies & Park Ave, and Metro Pollen-Tin. I stamped using Bundle Monster BM-S212 in Mundo de Unas Black. I was happy that all the little details from my plate transferred since I have had some difficulty with fine lines on BM plates in the past. You can purchase this plate here for $2.49 or here in a set of 10 plates for $14.99.

Birthday Nails!

Hi loves! Yesterday I celebrated my 27th birthday. I meant to post this mani yesterday, but didn't get around to it as I was too busy stuffing my face with pizza and enjoying the day. I used OPI Purple Palazzo Pants and stamped using MoYou London Happy Birthday 02 in China Glaze Harmony. Harmony is also on my index and my pinky has OPI Liquid Sand Baby Please Come Home.

Watermelon Nails with MoYou London Tropical 08

Hi Beauties! Hope your week started off good so far. Here's another summer mani I did a couple months ago. I meant to post it before summer ended, but oh well, it was still 90 degrees where I am in California today so I would say it's appropriate. It's China Glaze Shore Enuff stamped using MoYou London Tropical 08 in Mundo de Unas Green and Neon Pink. My ring finger has Zoya Pixie Dust Arabella.

China Glaze Float On & MoYou London Pro 06

Hi friends! Sorry it's been a while since I last posted. Last weekend was Mr. Heartnat's birthday and we went camping at Big Basin Redwoods State Park and then this weekend he was able to get both days off so we just relaxed and spent time together. Hubby usually works weekends, so with him off I kind of neglected nail and blogging time. I'm going to have to figure out a way to be more productive during the week after work, which is one of the hardest things to do!

Here's China Glaze Float On stamped using MoYou London Pro 06 in China Glaze Dune Our Thing. Dune Our Thing is also on my ring and pinky fingers.

Happy Easter from the Easter Bunny!

Happy Easter! Today I have an Easter mani to share with you. I did a pastel gradient over a white base using all China Glaze polishes: Peachy Keen, Light As Air, Lemon Fizz, and Re-Fresh Mint. Then I stamped using Bundle Monster BM-H09 and BM-H10 in Mundo de Unas White. This was so hard to photograph with all of the light colors, but I'm sure you guys get the idea.

Celtic Knot for St. Paddy's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day! So I did this gel mani yesterday morning before work. The original image of a shamrock I wanted to use from Bundle Monster BM-H05 just did not want to transfer to my gel. I've come to the conclusion that a lot of my BM images won't transfer on gel or topcoated nails because I've had this issue several times now that I've been using gel or only using BM when I swatch (over topcoated polish). Anyways I decided to use plan B and use the only Irish or St. Patrick's related image from one of my MoYou London plates as my MoYou London images transfer seamlessly to gel polish or topcoated nails.

I used OPI GelColor Alpine Snow and stamped using MoYou London Tourist 04 in Mundo de Unas Orange. I used Gelibility with Essie Shake Your Money Maker and China Glaze Angel Wings.

It's a bummer I finally had the chance to use my St. Patrick's themed images and it didn't end up working out. I've now added MoYou Festive 17 to my to-buy list!

Delicate White Lace Stamping

Happy Friday my friends! Sorry I didn't get a chance to post last weekend. I went on a last minute little getaway to Angels Camp, a cute little city here in California. I did a lot of swatching of Glam Polishes over the past couple of weeks so I'll be sharing those with you guys soon! Today I have a mani I wore a couple weeks ago and I love how it turned out.

I used Essie Sugar Daddy and stamped using MoYou London Bridal 06 in Mundo de Unas White. The pink is OPI Suzi Shops & Island Hops and the glitter is China Glaze Glistening Snow--my favorite silver glitter polish!

Also, I never thought I'd say this, but my round nails are growing on me! I haven't had any breaks since I changed my shape and I was so busy last week that I didn't get a chance to file my nails, but the shape is still fine. When I had squares I had to re-file them every week. I even wore this mani to work all week and it's just regular polish and it lasted the whole week with no chips. I'm kind of amazed. I'll probably be keeping this shape for a long time!

UberChic Beauty Stamping Plates--Review

Good morning Stampaholics! I'm sure a lot of you have heard about UberChic Beauty--the new brand of stamping plates that just launched about a week or so ago. Today I'll be reviewing them and sharing a few manicures I did with the plates.

UberChic Beauty is a small company based in Colorado. They sell stamping plates, glitter dust, and magical dust. There are 2 plate collections available right now. Each collection includes 3 plates. A collection is $24.99, which comes to about $8.33 per plate. I chose collection 2 to review. The plates come with the blue protective film that is to be removed before use.

Here's a size comparison next to a MoYou London plate. The UberChic Beauty plate is 9.5 cm x 14.5 cm. The UberChic designs are 1.7 x 2.1 cm (MoYou London designs are 1.5 x 2 cm). The plates have a paper backing to them kind of like what's on the back of a Bundle Monster plate

Here are a few manicures I did using the plates.

Watercolor mani using OPI Sheer Tints (I Can Teal You Like Me, I'm Never Amberassed, Be Magentale With Me, and Don't Violet Me Down) over a white base stamped using UC plate 2-01 in Mundo de Unas Black.

China Glaze Liquid Leather stamped using UC plate 2-01 in A-England Princess Tears. Middle nail is A-England Princess Tears stamped using UC plate 2-01 in Mundo de Unas Black.

OPI I Sing In Color stamped using UC plate 2-02 in Essie Good As Gold. Glitter is OPI All Sparkly and Gold.

I didn't have any trouble picking up the images. The etching of the plates are great quality and didn't rip up my cotton when I cleaned the images. Some of the images are really large like the heart image on the 1st plate and the hibiscus image on the 3rd plate so you'll only be able to see a part of the image once stamped on your nail, but majority of the images are patterns so that wouldn't happen often. I was really pleased with the quality of these plates and there's a good variety of images available to choose from. You can purchase these plates here for $24.99. There is a $5.99 flat shipping rate on US orders and $15 for international orders.

Creative Shop Stamper Review

Hi friends! Today I have a review of the stamper from Creative Shop, a Ukraine based online shop. I had seen a lot of people starting to use this stamper over the last couple months and when Ksenija of Creative Shop asked me if I wanted to review the stamper I jumped at the opportunity. The stamper is made out of a unique material unlike any of the other stampers I own, has a large silver holder with a unique shape, and did I mention it's huge! Take a look at the size compared to the stamper I currently use from EBay. It also came with a card containing the shop info and doubles as a scraper.

As you can see the Creative Shop stamper on the right is made of a semitransparent soft silicone. It's not as squishy as a "squishy stamper," but still conforms to the nail. It's hard to describe but basically when I press my finger into the center of my regular stamper, the stamper "spills over" the sides as it's so soft. If I do that with the Creative Shop stamper, my finger still goes deep into the stamper, but it doesn't "spill over" the sides if that makes sense.

When I first used the stamper for this manicure, I noticed that there were "hairs" on the edges of the stamped images which I have never encountered before. You can see them if you look up close, but no one is going to notice them since they're so tiny.

I also used the stamper for another manicure. I decided to do a mani inspired by Deborah of Love Varnish. I did this Gelibility manicure using China Glaze Lotus Begin and stamped using MoYou London Pro 06 in Mundo de Unas White and A-England Crown of Thistles. I didn't get any of the "hairs" with this second manicure.

All of the thin lines transferred very well, but I will note that compared to my other stamper, the lines are a little finer. If I were to compare it to fonts, I would say my regular stamper transfers "bold" and the Creative Shop stamper transfers "regular." This is something that would be a matter of preference as sometimes I want my images bold and there are other times where I want to do something that won't cover up too much of my base.

I won't be ditching my regular stamper, but overall this is a great stamper. It transfers images very well, it's easy to use, doesn't need any priming, feels comfortable to hold, the stamper head didn't fall out while I used it, and it's huge. You can purchase this stamper here for $8.

Gold stamping over Matte Black

Hi lovelies! I started school again this week which was no fun, but that just means I'm another week closer to graduating. Today I have some gold stamping over matte black. I was inspired from a notebook I saw in a post from Makeup and Beauty blog. I love when I see something and immediately have a nail idea pop into my head. It happens a lot, but I forget most of my ideas probably because I know I won't have time to execute them all.

For this mani I used China Glaze Liquid Leather and then topped it off with Essie Matte About You. Then I stamped using MoYou London Pro 01 and Konad M59 in Mundo de Unas Gold. I just placed another order from Mundo de Unas and I can't wait to get all my new stamping polishes next month so I can do more color combinations especially for the upcoming Spring and Summer months!

China Glaze New Bohemian Luster Chromes & MoYou London Kaleidoscope 03

Happy Saturday! I'm so happy this week flew by. Today I have my first mani of 2015! I used China Glaze Liquid Leather and stamped using MoYou London Kaleidoscope 03 in all 6 of the China Glaze New Bohemian Luster Chrome polishes (Deviantly Daring, No Plain Jane, Rare & Radiant, Swanky Silk, Unpredictable, and Want My Bawdy). I will always love stamping with these polishes because they give such a beautiful effect when stamped together.

Color Club Obsessed & MoYou London Pro 02

Hi beauties! Who's ready to go back to work and/or school tomorrow? Not me! I'm enjoying my last day of my vacation today before I have to get back to work tomorrow. I've been reading all day which has been quite relaxing, but before the day slips away from me, I have to do my nails--so here's a quick post so I can go play! I used Color Club Obsessed and stamped using MoYou London Pro 02 in China Glaze Adore and China Glaze Cherish. The base reminded me of mermaids so I went with a scale pattern and I really like how this one turned out.

Color Club Fierce & MoYou London Kaleidoscope 10

Happy Saturday friends! Hope everyone is having a great start to the new year so far. Today I have what I would call a nail fail. I swatched the Color Club Seven Deadly Sins collection for you guys and this color had a lot of different colored glitters in it that it kind of ended up looking like mud. What do you even stamp over something that looks like mud? I tried something, but not really diggin' it. I used Color Club Fierce and stamped using MoYou London Kaleidoscope 10 in China Glaze Harmony. What do you guys do when you have a base color that you can't figure out what to do with?

New Year's Eve 2015

Happy New Year! I didn't have much inspiration this year for my NYE mani because I used my favorite images for last year's mani lol. Here's my mani for tonight. It's China Glaze Liquid Leather topped with Serum No 5 Final Countdown stamped using MoYou London Festive 05 in Mundo de Unas White. Sorry that I took a few months off from blogging this year, but I'm happy to be back in the swing of things and that you all stuck with me. Thank you all so much and Happy Near Year to you all! <3
