Color Club Poptastic and Konad M64

Hey lovelies! Sorry it's been awhile since I last posted. I wore this mani last month. I got a lot of compliments on it. I love the look of multicolored stamping! I used Color Club Poptastic and stamped using Konad M64 in Konad Yellow, Konad Princess Apple Green, and Konad Sky Pearl. Hope you like it! I promise I won't take so long for my next post =]

Summery Beach Sunset

Today was my first day of the Nursing Program so my summer vacation is officially over =[ I originally wanted to post this yesterday, but I'm pretty sick right now and I had to sleep early for school last night so I saved it for today. I didn't do any crazy summer or beach manis this summer so I figured I can at least end with one. I used Color Club Pucci-licious, Color Club Modern Pink, Color Club Wham! Pow!, China Glaze Happy Go Lucky, and L.A. Girl Metal Alkaline Blue. I used Konad M29 in Konad black. I know I probably could've blended a bit better, but I was kind of short on time, as I will be from now on since school has started. I know a lot of other people have started school recently or will be, so I hope everyone's summer has or will end on a great note!

Pink Gradient and Fauxnad M72

Sorry I haven't blogged for almost a week! As I mentioned in my last post, I had my wedding reception last week on Saturday. I was kind of a zombie the next day and then this week I've been doing last minute things before I start an R.N. (registered nurse) program next week. I had to get my last immunization for school and I officially changed my last name (which was kind of a pain in the butt) haha! On a bad note, when school starts I will have to CHOP my nails so they don't go past my finger and I won't be allowed to wear nail polish to clinical (hospital) half the week so I won't be able to blog as much. I will definitely make some time though!

Anyways, here's the mani I wore for the wedding reception last week. For the gradient I used Color Club Modern Pink, China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy, and China Glaze High Hopes. I also used Nfu-Oh #49 on top of the 3rd color. I stamped using Fauxnad M72 in Konad White.

And here's a couple pics of my reception last week =]

Me and my wonderful husband who buys me tons of nail polish <3

Me doing a Tongan Tauolunga (my husband is Tongan)

And I said last month I'd post a few of my professional wedding pics when I got them, but didn't think anyone would care to see it, but might as well since I'm putting these other ones =P Plus I like when other bloggers share stuff about themselves =]

Rainbow Snakeskin

This may just be my favorite mani of mine that I've ever done. My husband said it's his fave so far. This doesn't usually happen to me, I was inspired by something that I saw. I got some workout shorts from Sports Authority this week and they had really cool prints on them. Anyways, I just copied them and voila! I used 8 Color Club Poptastic colors including: Age of Aquarius, Pucci-licious, Poptastic, Wham! Pow!, Almost Famous, Twiggie, Edie, and Chelsea Girl. For the snakeskin design I used BM 224 in Konad Black. I just wore these to work tonight and I got soooo many compliments. Hope you like!

Gradient Zebra Mani

Okay Rebecca, out of all your manis that I love and want to re-create (all of them =P), this one has just been staring at me and I had to do it! Haha you can check out the tutorial for this design by Rebecca from Rebecca Likes Nails. First color: China Glaze Happy Go Lucky, second color: Color Club Koo-Koo CaChoo, third color: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Fuchsia Power. I used Konad M57 in Konad Black. For some reason, the orange in the photos doesn't show up that much, but in person it totally shows.

I'm sure you can tell, I've had a casualty this week and decided to chop all my nails ='[ Oh well, I should get used to short nails because when I start a nursing program in September, I will have to cut them even shorter than this.

Reggae Inspired Nails

I've done gradient nails before, but it wasn't anything spectacular. After learning a few tips from Rebecca at Rebecca Likes Nails, I really wanted to try it again. The link to her gradient tutorial is here. I don't know if you'd call this gradient because the colors don't exactly "blend" together, but it's the same procedure. I first painted all my nails with one coat of China Glaze in Hey Sailor. Then I sponged on China Glaze in Happy Go Lucky. The last color I used to sponge was China Glaze in Starboard. Lastly, I stamped using BM 208 with Konad black. I wanted to use zebra print pretty bad, but I wanted to change it up a little since I try not to copy people's nails exactly, even when I give credit. It just feels a little weird. Ok anyways, I LOVE how this turned out! I'm totally going to do this more often!

Don't mind my thumb. I forgot to sponge all the way to the sides and only noticed it after pics.
