Essie Tart Deco & MASH 29

Good evening my polished pretties! Hope everyone is having a good week so far. I have probably mentioned this before, but a lot of my manis are done on one hand. However, when I am going to wear an actual full mani for at least one day it takes me FOREVER to decide on what to do! It's pretty bad lol. This was one of those, but I really liked the end result. I used Essie Tart Deco and stamped using MASH 29 in Essie Good as Gold. The glitter is China Glaze I'm Not Lion. Can you believe I have had I'm Not Lion for over a year and this is my first time using it. Yeah, I'm kind of horrible... so many untrieds =P How about you ladies, do you have polish commitment problems like me?

(Tart Deco is a bit darker IRL)

Born Pretty Store--Stud Combination Wheel Review

Good afternoon lacqueristas. Today I have a stud combination wheel from Born Pretty Store to review for you. The wheel comes with 12 different kinds of studs ranging from different shapes, sizes, and colors. I was able to create several different manicures with these. I included some new manicures and a couple old ones in which I used studs from this nail wheel.

China Glaze Sun of A Peach and China Glaze I Herd That with some gold bar studs

I really love how these turned out!

Here's an old one I posted here

Here's the mani I posted yesterday and am currently wearing

I used OPI A Definite Moust Have and OPI Black Onyx and mattified them with Essie Matte About You

Sorry for the weird angle, but here's an idea of the different sizes that come in the wheel

Here's one of the larger studs and I will not be using.
I was able to create a lot of different manicures and I will be using this again in the future as it gives me plenty of options. One thing I didn't like is that the wheel I received has 2 different studs than the one shown in the photo on Born Pretty's site. I purchase a lot of things online and I really rely on the photos to be accurate of the item. Another thing is that some of the studs in here are too big for use so I won't be using every item in the wheel. You can purchase this item here for $3.99. My Graduation Mani!

Happy Friday everyone! Yesterday I graduated from a 2 year RN Nursing Program! I will be taking my NCLEX sometime this summer so I'll keep you guys updated on how that goes. It was so hard blogging during the program because we're not allowed to wear nail polish, but I kept at it. Thanks for sticking with me for all this time even though at times I wasn't able to post very often. I still have to study for my boards, but I know I will definitely be able to post more often.

Onto my nails! I did a mani to match my dress. I used China Glaze: Neon & On & On (pink), Too Yacht to Handle (blue-green), and Glistening Snow (glitter). The stamp is BM 201 in Konad White. In person the white stamp looks more white, I think in the photo the pink kind of comes through a bit. I was planning on doing my nails again today, but I'm having a difficult taking these off especially because they have no chips and they look pretty awesome.

Here's me flashin' my mani at graduation

Born Pretty Store--2mm Colorful Stud Review

Hey my polished pretties! Today I have 2mm colored studs to review from Born Pretty Store. They are 2mm in size and turquoise in color. I'm loving the stud trend this year! I have mostly been seeing basic colors like silver and gold being used, but I was really excited when I saw a variety of colors like pink, blue, turquoise, orange, and black offered on the Born Pretty site. For this mani I used OPI Can't Find My Czechbook and stamped using BM 319 in China Glaze Adore. The blue glitter is OPI Liquid Sand Tiffany Case. To apply the studs on my nails I used topcoat and tweezers for placement and sealed them in with topcoat. I wore them for a little over a day, went shopping, and didn't lose any studs!

You can wear just a couple studs on each nail, or go nuts on one nail like I did. Either way, they're such an easy way to jazz up your nails especially if you're not great at doing nail art. You can purchase a bag here for $5.84 and this particular color is #2205. Get 10% off of your entire purchase using my coupon code: NV7X31.

Born Pretty Store--1.5 mm Round Gold Studs Review

Hi loves! Today I have 1.5 mm round gold nail studs to review from Born Pretty Store. I used Essie Come Here (coral) and OPI Liquid Sand Honey Ryder (gold) for this mani. The studs are nice and small, but big enough to bring  attention to your nails. I really liked them because I didn't have to fuss with their orientation as compared to square studs. They didn't catch on anything and they were really easy to apply. I used topcoat as "glue" and placed them with tweezers. They stayed on well with no issues. I'm definitely going to have to get some of these in silver as well. You can purchase them here for $5.86. Use my code: NV7X31 for 10% off your purchase.

My Golden Birthday

Happy Saturday. I hope everyone is having a lovely Thanksgiving weekend. I sure am. Today I turn 24 so it's my golden birthday! I got OPI The Man with the Golden Gun last month and wanted to save it for a special occasion and I decided to use it for today's mani. I used OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons, OPI Black Onyx, and OPI The Man with the Golden Gun. I added some gold studs from Born Pretty Store. I love how these turned out, I feel so glamorous!

Born Pretty Store 4mm Gold Square Studs Review

Hey everyone! Today I will be reviewing Born Pretty Store's 4mm Gold Square Studs. I have never used any kind of studs before, but I was excited to try these out. I re-created a mani that The Nailasaurus did here. I used OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons and then added the stripes in China Glaze High Hopes. To affix the studs, I just applied a small dot of topcoat on the spot in which I wanted to place the stud, used a tweezer to place it, and then just added a thick layer of top coat.

Here's how the studs are packaged. There are a lot of studs in the bag so I won't be running out of these anytime soon!

I really loved using these studs. They're really easy to use and as you can see, you can either use just one or several to create a different look. My only complaint about them is that I have very curved nails and I had a little trouble getting them to lay completely flat on the nail. They still adhere well with the topcoat applied, but I feel like I have to be careful not to let them catch on anything. If your nails are not super curved like mine, you will have no problem with these. Maybe next time I will just apply them straight and see if that helps to make them lay flat on my nail. Something I really liked about them is that they don't dull when you apply topcoat. I sometimes have that issue when I put topcoat over rhinestones, but these still look shiny.

These studs can be purchased here for $5.84.Visit Born Pretty Store for all of your nail art needs. They have free worldwide shipping on all orders! Use my code "NV7X31" for 7% off your order.
