Zoya Haul

I mentioned awhile back that I was going to order from Zoya online because they had a special for Earth Day. This package arrived at my parents house last week, but I didn't pick it up until yesterday. Here they are! I really love how sparkly they all look =]

L to R: Faye, Apple, Tanzy (from Zoya Sunshine Collection)

L to R: Gilda, Charla, Ivanka, Mimi (from Zoya Sparkle Collection)

This arrived at my house today! O.P.I. Silver Shatter! I ordered this one on Amazon. After ordering this, I ended up ordering O.P.I. Mermaid Tears on Amazon as well, so that one is still on its way. I really love the Pirates of the Caribbean Collection and I may just order O.P.I. Planks A Lot as well. It's so hard to just pick a few!

L.A. Colors Live and BM 221

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there =] To those of you nailphiles who are moms, I hope you got some awesome nail polish as gifts today! I'm currently still wearing my water marbled nails and I want to do my nails again already, but I've been so busy working I haven't had time. This is the mani I had on before I did water marbling. The base color is L.A. Colors Color Craze in Live. It's a beautiful silver color. I actually had to wear the silver by itself to work a few days ago because I got called in to work early and had to pick something that looks okay without any nail art. It felt soo weird, but I still received many compliments on the color. I stamped using BM 221 in Konad black. It was a bit difficult to center this design, so my middle finger nail looks crooked lol. This design kind of reminds me of an optical illusion.

YAY! 50 followers!

Wow I reached 50 followers! Whooo hoo I'm so excited! Thanks followers =] I have something special for you guys today, water marbling! I've done this a few times, some have came out better than others, but i'm pretty happy with how these came out. I know I've got some improving to do, but hope you all enjoy this mani!

I started off by painting all my nails white with Wet n Wild French White Creme. If you use a lighter base color, the colors you use to marble will really pop and look bright. If you use a darker base, the colors won't look as bright and will have a more subtle look.

Left to right: Sally Hansen XW in White On, SHXW in Fuchsia Power, SHXW in Deep Purple, and L.A. Colors Color Craze in Live. Marbling does use up a lot of polish, so I bought the Sally Hansen polishes purposely for marbling because I don't mind using them up.

My left pinky didn't come out great, but it was the first nail I dipped and as those of you who have tried marbling, you kinda have to get a rhythm going so I didn't expect that one to be great (and I was too lazy to re-do it).

Introducing.. my right hand! Hahaha I've been hiding my right hand because pointer nail just keeps breaking and I'm having a difficult time growing it back =[ waa waa. Also, my pointer nail is a good (bad) example of what happens when water is left on your nail after you dunk it. The polish kind of bleeds and you don't want that.

Happy Go Lucky & BM 203

Believe it or not, this was my very first time using China Glaze (not including Passion that I used to stamp 2 weeks ago)! Haha I'm probably the last nailphile to use CG. I just got this color a couple weeks ago and have been wanting to try it out. It's CG Happy Go Lucky from the Up and Away collection. The formula was perfect and dried fast. This is my all time favorite yellow polish! The formula was so awesome, this makes me want to buy so much more CG, but I better wait awhile since I told myself I wouldn't buy any nail stuff for awhile. I stamped using BM plate 203 with Konad Special Princess Polish in Apple.
