Hi everyone! The day has finally came--my blog's first birthday! Yay! It has been such a wonderful experience to become a part of the nail polish blogging community & I'm happy to share it with so many lovely followers! I truly appreciate each and every one of my followers! I'm excited for what this next year will bring =] I really wanted to have a giveaway for this today, but I'm kinda waiting for a particular collection to come to my nail store before I announce it so keep an eye out for that! Thank you thank you thank you all again!! Now without further ado, here are some messy newbie manicures I did before I started blogging. Checkout my embarrassing hand poses, my not so great stamping, my dry cuticles, and my tomboy short nails lol. Enjoy =]

Easter Water Marble
Happy Easter loves! I couldn't decide what I wanted to do for Easter nails so I decided to do a water marble. It came out very uniform--success! I used a base of China Glaze White Out and marbled with O.P.I. Did It On 'Em, O.P.I. Fly, and O.P.I. Pink Friday from the Nicki Minaj Collection. They worked really well to marble with! I was going to use pastel colors, but I figured for all the work it takes to do a full water marble mani, I want colors that pop. Hope everyone has a great Easter!

Essie Go Overboard Collection Swatches
Hi everyone! I got Essie's Go Overboard Collection a couple months ago and I never got around to playing around with them until this week since I'm on Spring Break so here they are! This is one of Essie's Spring 2012 collections and it consists of 3 polishes. Swatches are shown with 2 coats and no topcoat.

China Glaze White Out with Konad Q1
Hi everyone! I have a sweet mani to show you today with my new Konad Q1 plate. I got my plate here from Cesars Shop for those of you who will be dying to get it after seeing this post. I got it a few weeks back, but I waited to use it because I didn't want to "waste" it and come up with something ugly or rushed lol. Anyways, I absolutely loved how this turned out. I wanted to use a couple other colors but my Insta-Dri's that I use for stamping were drying quicker than my Konad polishes so I cut it down to four colors. I used China Glaze White Out as a base and stamped using Konad Q1 in Konad Psyche Pink, Konad Yellow, Konad Sky Pearl, and Konad Princess Apple Green.
