Marilyn Monroe Mani with GLAM 01

HAPPY FRIDAY LOVES! Can you tell I'm happy? Yesterday I finished my last day of preceptorship for the nursing program I'm in so it's official, I'm graduating nursing school on May 23! As you can imagine, the first thing I did today was paint my nails. I have quite a few products lined up to review so the first one I wanted to try was a new stamping plate by Just Ricarda. She made her first stamping plate and was nice enough to send it to me to try it out. For this mani, I used OPI Pink Friday and stamped using GLAM 01 in Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Presto Pink and Konad Black. The accent nail is OPI Black Onyx. How cute are these?!

So far I only used 3 images from this plate, but so far I love it and can already think of new mani ideas. This plate is available for $7 (plus $1-2 shipping depending on your location) on Just Ricarda's Etsy Shop. She also has a photo of the whole plate on her page so be sure to check it out!

Happy Sunday! Sorry I took a couple days extra to announce the winner of my giveaway. I've been so busy with my preceptorship, but I finally got around to it. I have emailed the winner and I'm awaiting a reply so check your inboxes ladies! More good news, my last day of preceptorship for the nursing program I'm in is this Thursday. That not only means I will officially graduate in a couple weeks, but I will also be painting my nails regularly again. Believe me when I say I've been counting the days!

Born Pretty Store--1.5 mm Round Gold Studs Review

Hi loves! Today I have 1.5 mm round gold nail studs to review from Born Pretty Store. I used Essie Come Here (coral) and OPI Liquid Sand Honey Ryder (gold) for this mani. The studs are nice and small, but big enough to bring  attention to your nails. I really liked them because I didn't have to fuss with their orientation as compared to square studs. They didn't catch on anything and they were really easy to apply. I used topcoat as "glue" and placed them with tweezers. They stayed on well with no issues. I'm definitely going to have to get some of these in silver as well. You can purchase them here for $5.86. Use my code: NV7X31 for 10% off your purchase.

Ruby Wing Sunflower Swatch & Review

Hi beauties! Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I'm graduating in exactly one month from today and I'm currently doing the last part of my nursing program, preceptorship! I can't wait to go nuts and paint my nails more often this summer. Today I have my first solar and scented polish to show you. It's Ruby Wing Sunflower. It's a lovely gold glitter polish in a clear base. I used 3 coats and topcoat for the swatch. Topcoat does not affect the color changing effect. It was easy to apply and reaches opacity at 3 coats. I really enjoyed the sunflower scent, although I have also read that it is a bit too strong for some people. Indoors the polish is a light gold and in direct sunlight changes to a very vibrant yellow gold. Both ways are nice, but I absolutely love the color in sunlight because it's so vibrant! You can purchase Ruby Wing polishes here.
