Essie Naughty Nautical Water Marble

Happy Friday the 13th! Good thing nothing unlucky happened to me today. Today I have a water marble I did using some of the colors from the Essie Naughty Nautical collection. Summer is almost over and I did really good at not buying a lot of polish, so I decided to get this collection I've been eyeing all summer. I've been playing with them this week before summer ends. For this water marble I used a base of Zoya Purity and marbled using Essie Sunday Funday, Naughty Nautical, The Girls Are Out, and The More the Merrier. They're not uniform like I usually prefer, but I still like how they turned out. I used an orange stick from Winstonia to do the water marble. You can check out my review on the orange wood sticks here.

Color Club Pearl District & Cheeky Jumbo A

Hi loves! Quick post today. I have another mani using one of the new Color Club fall 2013 polishes I reviewed here. I used Color Club Pearl District and stamped using Cheeky Jumbo A in Born Pretty Store black stamping polish. I wanted to give the Born Pretty Store stamping polish another try. It got the job done, but I still prefer using my go to black stamping polish--Konad black. I've also been playing with my Cheeky Jumbo plates lately and I am so thrilled with the results. I have a couple more manis to post using them so stay tuned!

Color Club Wicker Park & Cheeky Jumbo H

Hi loves. Quick post today. In my last post I reviewed a couple of polishes from Color Club and I decided to do some nail art while wearing them. You can read my review of them here. For this manicure I used Color Club Wicker Park and stamped using Cheeky Jumbo H in Konad White. I added a rhinestone on the flower on my middle finger because I felt like being girly. This was my first time using a Cheeky jumbo plate and I have to admit, I was impressed at the quality. I recently bought their jumbo plates A, C, H, and 1 (Viva Mexico). I am thinking of ordering the set of their 10 summer 2013 plates, but am not quite sold yet. I read that some designs aren't etched deep enough so maybe I'll hold off for a bit. Do any of you own the Cheeky jumbo 2013 summer set/how do you like them?

Color Club Pearl District & Wicker Park--Swatches & Review

Hi my pretties! Today I have 2 polishes to review from Color Club's new fall 2013 Girl About Town collection. The 2 I received are Pearl District and Wicker Park. Pearl District is a beautiful gold shimmer with hints of green to it that resemble the tiger's eye gemstone. Wicker Park is a perfect lavender creme, not too dark and not too light. Let's take a look at the swatches. Both are shown with topcoat.

Color Club Pearl District. 3 thin coats, perfect formula. It's a bit darker IRL.

Color Club Wicker Park. 3 thin coats, formula a bit thick, but easy to work with. I actually used this one twice already and it got a bit thicker with my 2nd application, so you may need to use polish thinner with this one. So worth it though, it's like a bubblegum purple if there was such a thing. I really loved it more than I expected to.

I really enjoyed both of these colors and I don't have anything like either of them in my collection. I only have two of the polishes from this collection, but what's great about Wicker Park and some of the other polishes are that they aren't your typical fall colors and you can wear them year round. You can purchase these polishes here for $8.
