OPI I'm Feeling Sashy & MoYou London Pro 03 XL

Happy Saturday! Quick post because I should be getting ready for a friend's wedding today. Here's a mani I wore last week for a whole 5 days! I loved how it turned out. I used OPI I'm Feeling Sashy and stamped using MoYou London Pro 03 XL in OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest. I love how you can see the beautiful sparkle in the stamp! Also, the base color I'm Feeling Sashy is one of the new polishes from OPI's 2013 Miss Universe collection and how gorgeous is it?! I don't think I own anything like it. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

Color Secrets Pro--Freaky Friday & Great Expectations Swatches & Review

Hey beauties! Today I have some Color Secrets Pro swatches I meant to post a few months back, but I split my 2013 nail folder in two and I completely forgot about it. The 2 polishes I have are from Color Secrets Pro Summer Radiance Collection. I am new to this brand, but I was really looking forward to trying the polishes out because the colors are fun, bright, and named after movies. I loooove movies and have a big blu-ray collection so the movie name thing got me even more excited. Let's take a look at the swatches!

Freaky Friday--3 coats plus topcoat. I really love colors like this, but they're so hard for me to capture! I had to use my phone to get these color accurate pics. This one dries matte so it needs careful application. Dry time was fast. My brush had some extra long strands and I had to trim them. I don't really like having to do that, but I had no application issues after trimming them.

Great Expectations--3 coats plus topcoat. The color is quite nice, but the formula was super thick and made application difficult. I had to use 3 coats for it to level out. The brush was fine on this one.

Overall the colors were both lovely, but the wonky brush on one and thick formula on the other made my experience so-so. You can purchase Color Secrets Pro polishes here for $4.99 each. Orders $35 and up ship for free.

Pink to Aqua Gradient & Cheeky Jumbo C

Hi friends! Quick post today. Here's a mani I wore a few weeks back to the Eyes On Indie Nail party. For the gradient I used China Glaze Surreal Appeal, Essie Play Date, and Color Club Age of Aquarius and stamped using Cheeky Jumbo C in Konad Black. My ring and pinky finger have China Glaze Liquid Leather. I wanted to do nails to match my shirt that day and they came out perfectly. I love it when that happens!

Polished by KPT Siren's Song & Bittersweet Swatches

Hey lacqueristas! Today I have my very first Polished by KPT polishes to show you. Katherine is a Bay Area indie polish maker and is very well known for her thermal polishes. I had the pleasure of meeting Katherine at her Eyes On Indie Nail Party a few weeks ago and she even gave me a couple polishes to try. I have 2 of her thermal polishes to show you today--Siren's Song and Bittersweet.

Siren's Song (cool)

Siren's Song (in transition)

Siren's Song (warm)

Bittersweet (cool)

Bittersweet (in transition)

Bittersweet (warm)

Both of these polishes are beautiful, but my fave is definitely Siren's Song. It was quite helpful to have long nails as the transition shows up nicely. I would imagine the transition effect would be a bit harder to achieve with short nails without running your hands in cool/warm water. You can purchase both of these limited edition polishes here and they are currently on sale for $12.50 each.

Here's a pic of Katherine and I at the Eyes On Indie Party last month.
