Pure Ice--Bite Me & Show Stopper Crackle

Hi loves! Today I have another one from the vault. This is Pure Ice Bite me with Show Stopper Crackle on top. I love this gold! It was sheer on the first coat, but was good in two and it looks awesome. The crackle worked well and I had no problems with it. I'm pretty cracked out already and this is not an exception. I make exceptions when it's a new color that I haven't seen before, but this one isn't anything new and I wasn't amazed by it.

Two coats of Bite Me, no topcoat.

Memorial Day Nails

Happy Memorial Day! I decided to do some American Flag nails in honor of the holiday. I got a request to do these on my Instagram account and it is the first time I've ever done a request--not that I can remember getting any lol. For my thumb and index I used China Glaze First Mate with a coat of China Glaze Blue Year's Eve stamped using MASH 49 in Konad White. For my other 3 fingers I used China Glaze Hey Sailor with a coat of China Glaze Ring in the Red stamped using MASH 46 in Konad White. Hope everyone has a safe holiday!

Orange and Pink Gradient and Mash 42

Good morning readers! I was inspired by a mani that Rebecca did recently, and I wanted to try out something similar. I've also been seeing a lot of orange/pink gradients lately, but the one I loved the most was by Makeup Withdrawal. For this I used Zoya Arizona and Zoya Lara and then stamped using MASH 42 in Konad White. I just got my MASH plates and this was my first time using an image, but it worked perfectly and I had no issue transferring the image. Can't wait to play with my MASH plates more! If you're interested in purchasing them, they're available here and shipping is free for a limited time!

Pure Ice--Pool Party & Catwalk Crackle

Happy Friday! As of today I'm officially on my summer vacation! I have so many nail ideas I can't wait to get started, but first I want to get some stuff out of the vault that I never got around to. Today I have Pure Ice Pool Party and Pure Ice Catwalk (crackle). I was pretty surprised at how well the yellow crackle worked--one because I've never seen it before, and two because I thought it would be pretty sheer over blue, but it turned out nicely! These can be purchased from Bari Cosmetics.

Two coats of Pool Party, no topcoat.

OPI A Roll In the Hague & Gold Holo Hex Glitter

Hi loves! Good news--my last day of class is on Thursday so I will be posting a lot more often. I have so many ideas and I'm also going to tackle the 31 day nail challenge so keep an eye out for that! Today I have something simple I did when I was short on time. This is a great option for someone who wants to do some quick nail art. I used OPI A Roll in the Hague and added some gold holo hex glitter. Very simple, but it looks really classy. On a side note, I figured out how to rotate my watermark so I might start using a new "hand pose" plus I feel weird watermarking twice. Any thoughts?

Here's a "new pose" for me. How'd I do? Lol

Tattoo Inspired Nail Art

Happy Friday! Today I have a cute mani to show you that is inspired by one of my favorite bloggers. You can check out Rebecca's mani here! I was going for a tattooed look and I think I nailed it! I used O.P.I. Samoan Sand as a base. To stamp I used Konad plates M13, M53, M47, Q1, & M3 in Konad Red, Yellow, Sky Pearl, & Black. My original idea to fill in the blue outline with blue polish and stamp the outline again in black didn't work because I had too much difficulty lining it up again with the image, but I'm still happy with how this turned out!

Pure Ice Vinyl Remix Swatches

Hi readers! Today I have some new polish duos from Pure Ice called Vinyl Remix. It puts an interesting twist on crackle polish! Each duo comes with a white 'Platinum Magic Base Coat' and a 'Vinyl Remix' crackle that not only crackles, but makes the white base change into a certain color. The four Vinyl Remix colors I received are Rave (orange), Emcee Me (yellow), Vintage Remix (purple), and DJ Spinner (green). Let's take a look at the magic.

First, start off with a the white Platinum Magic Base Coat.

Next, use the Vinyl Remix polishes and watch the white base change colors! You can see some squiggly designs on my middle finger because part of the whole idea is 'Art in Motion'

Here's another combination I tried using Rave and DJ Spinner. More squigglies!

These polishes were pretty fun to use. It's the first time I've ever watched nail polish change colors before my eyes so that was cool to see. There are really so many possibilities that can be created with different colors and patterns that make these polishes very versatile for different looks. The only thing that was a little annoying was that when I tried to create patterns with the Vinyl Remix polishes, it would get on the sides of my fingers and create extra clean up. Of course you don't have to create patterns, but I was trying the go with the 'Art in Motion' idea and try it out. This is a great alternative to painting your nails several different base colors before applying a crackle polish because the magic will do the work for you. It's fun, easy to use, and allows for creativity. These polishes will be available at Wal-Mart this month. You can see a video tutorial or other colors here on the Pure Ice website.

Zoya Surf Collection Swatches

Good evening loves! My last post was of Zoya's Beach Collection, so as you may have guessed, today I have Zoya's Surf Collection to show you! I have really been anticipating getting my hands on these and they're finally mine! I have also seen this collection used to stamp so that's another reason I really wanted these. Let's take a look at the swatches. All are shown with 2 coats and no topcoat.

Zoya Kimber.

Zoya Rory.

Zoya Carly.

Zoya Meg.

Zoya Myrta.

Zoya Zuza.
My favorites are definitely Rory, Carly, and Zuza. I love all of these colors. The only things I don't like about these are that they take awhile to dry and the shimmer particles get all over my fingers during removal. Other than that these are beauties and are perfect summer colors! I can't wait to try stamping with these.

Zoya Beach Collection Swatches

Summer is almost here and that means summer nail polish collections! Today I have Zoya's Beach Collection. I know swatches are already out, but I just received mine from Zoya's Earth Day promo and I wanted to use mine, all of them lol. Let's get to the swatches!

Zoya Lara.

Zoya Shelby.

Zoya Reagan.

Zoya Tracie. I hate frosts =|

Zoya Arizona.

Zoya Wednesday.
As much as I love pink nail polish, I didn't love that there were 3 in this collection. I will however, be wearing them all. The formula was generally good, except for Shelby, it kind of dragged during application. All are 2 coats, except Shelby, which is 3 coats. These photos are all shown without topcoat. I was so excited to see the promo pics for this collection and now that I finally have it, I'm happy to say I'm pleased with it. Stay tuned for Zoya Surf Collection swatches!

China Glaze Wicked Style and Konad M82

Hi pretties! Today I have a flower mani with some pretty summer colors! I used China Glaze Wicked Style and stamped using Konad M82 first in Konad Yellow and then with same image, stamped over it in Konad White. I love the double stamp look! I added some yellow dots in the middle using China Glaze Sunshine Pop. This flower is my favorite flower image, I have to try to refrain myself from using it all the time lol.

Colors of the Wind Inspired

Goodmorning! Today I have a Pocahontas/Colors of the Wind inspired mani. I'm thinking of maybe entering this one or my Metallic Multicolor Stamping mani for Bundle Monsters contest, but I'm having trouble deciding.  For this I used a base of China Glaze White Out and then sponged on China Glaze: Electric Beat, Dance Baby, Sunshine Pop, Kinetic Candy, Gothic Lolita and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Lively Lilac and Snappy Sorbet. I stamped using BM 214 in Konad White. I thought this turned out pretty good based on what I had in my head lol. Can you ladies please help me pick which one to enter? (A or B in the last photo)

(Here's what my base looked like before stamping)

Help me choose which one I should enter into Bundle Monster's contest, A or B?
