St. Patrick's Day Mani #2

Happy St. Paddy's Day--and happy 90th birthday to my grandma!  Today I have a pretty cool mani that is inspired by the famous Robin Moses! She is so inspirational and talented! This is my first time drag marbling and I think it came out pretty cool. I used a base of L.A. Girl French Manicure Creme Brulee and then drag marbled using NYX Girls Luscious Green, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On, and L.A. Girl Disco Brites Can U Dig It. I added some gold glitter using L.A. Colors Art Deco Gold Glitter. Then I stamped using BM03 in Konad Apple Green. The transfer of my stamp sucked as do most of my images from the first set of Bundle Monster plates that I own. I thought it ruined my mani, but it would've been a pain to take it off so I left it there.

Nicki Minaj Inspired Nails #1

Hi everyone! So I mentioned before I use this iPhone app called Instagram and I like to enter these little nail contests. I like how when I'm sometimes lacking inspiration these contests will give me a direction to go in. Anyways, the current one is to do nails inspired by outfits worn by Nicki Minaj or Lady Gaga. I did 4 so you'll be seeing them this week. I wanted to do more actually because I got a lot of inspiration, but I started nursing school again today so no more daily manis ='[

For this mani I painted all my nails with OPI Fly. Then I used a dotting tool to add medium sized random blobs of OPI. Did It On 'Em, OPI DS Glow, China Glaze Gaga for Green, Color Club Chelsea Girl, and L.A. Girl Disco Brites Vinyl Record. Lastly I stamped using Bundle Monster 224 in Konad Black. Pretty awesome, right?! One of Nicki's outfits in her "Super Bass" music video was the inspiration for this mani.

Color Club Covered In Diamonds

I was looking online last night for Nfu-Oh Flakies and the cheapest ones I saw were $12.50 on Fabulous Street. I found the website from soguesswhat11. It's a pretty good deal considering they go for much more than that on other websites, but right now that's just a bit more than I want to spend for one nail polish. Then, this morning I remembered I have a flakie that I haven't even tried yet--Color Club Covered in Diamonds! For a base I used L.A. Girl Disco Brites in Phenomenon. I'm pretty sure it's black, but sometimes it almost looks like a SUUUPER dark blue. Then for the magic, I used one coat of CC Covered In Diamonds. It's such a beauty and it was only $3.00 on Transdesign! You can do this to all of my pics, but especially for this one, you may want to click to enlarge to see how pretty this one is =]

Rainbow Houndstooth Nails

Hey so I FINALLY made time to do my nails today. I actually did a few different manis today, but I decided to show you this one first. I got this idea from Miss80Million on YouTube. It's really basic stuff, but it looks soo cute and colorful! I used Konad M63 and stamped in Konad black. Here are the colors I used from L to R: L.A. Girl Disco Brites in Disco Fever, CG Happy Go Lucky, L.A. Girl Disco Brites in Can U Dig It?, L.A. Girl Disco Brites in Deejay, and L.A. Girl Disco Brites in Hustle.

Nautical Star Mani

Good morning everyone! I can't believe I'm at 22 followers now! Thanks to those who take time to read my blog =] So I guess you can call this a nautical or Nor-Cal mani. I used L.A. Girl Disco Brites in Disco Fever and stamped with BM plates 220 and 206 in Konad black. I was really hesistant to try the tip designs cuz they look huge, but I was actually really happy with how these turned out! Don't really know how I feel about that little open space on the bottom, but I was too lazy to stamp an extra star in between everything.

Konad M60 Easter Nails

So this is my first time doing Easter themed nails. I was pretty indecisive about what to do since I didn't want anything too over the top. I was going to do 5 colors, but it may have looked too crazy so I picked 4. I used L.A. Girl Disco Brites Hustle (purple), Freak (pink), Turntable (green), and Psychedelic (yellow). I actually love the Disco Brites polishes because they have a jelly-like formula and have a very glossy finish, but I probably shouldn't have used them for this manicure because it ended up being so thick =[ Good thing I used Seche Vite Quick Dry Topcoat after each color haha.

As you can see in the pics, the tips are slightly messed up since there are so many layers there. Sorry for the dark pics, it was pretty gloomy outside this morning.
