JORD Wood Watch Review

Good afternoon friends! Today I have a JORD Wood Watch to share with you today. When I was asked to review this item, I jumped at the opportunity not only because they look so unique, but because I had the perfect image to use on my nails that I'll probably never use again lol. The watch I chose to review is the Ely in Maple.

Here's a bit of info on the Ely from the JORD Website:

"Ely is the complement to our Fieldcrest series, produced using a slightly smaller dial and band, with the addition of a date display. The simplicity of this design accentuates the intricacy of the wood grain. The Ely is understated and effortless.

Features:
-Deployment Buckle with Push Button
-Scratch Resistant Mineral
-Citizen Miyota Quartz Movement (2015 w/Date Display)
-Case Width: 37mm
-Case Thickness: 11mm
-Lug Ends: 45mm
-Band Length: 200mm
-Band Thickness: 21mm

Each JORD watch is designed to be splash proof but is not intended for complete submergence in water. Also note that due to the nature of the wood chosen for each unique timepiece, colors and grain pattern may vary from photos."

It came in this beautiful, sturdy wooden box to match. They both smell great!

The watch pairs perfectly with one of my new favorite accessories--my bamboo sunnies.

I felt silly doing an OOTD as I only blog about nails, but I think it turned out pretty good! The Maple color goes great with a monogram Louis for my fellow LV addicts out there.

The watch fit perfectly after following the online instructions to have it sized. Sizing it is available for $10.00 which is very reasonable plus it saves you a trip to a shop.

And of course I have a matching wood grain mani to go with my watch. Here's Color Club Disco's Not Dead stamped using Winstonia 113 in Mundo de Unas Taupe.

I am thrilled to have a JORD Wood Watch. It's great quality, looks beautiful, smells amazing, is easy to match, looks feminine, and has must have features for me like the date and second hand. You can purchase this watch from the JORD Website for $129.

Red & Blue Fair Isle Nails

Say hello to my tiny nails! *Hello tiny nails!* I broke my index nail one day AFTER I trimmed my nails short and now all of my nails are teeny tiny. At least my nails grow pretty fast! So I'm trying to do as many holiday manis as I can by Christmas and here's one of the many you'll be seeing over the next week. I used China Glaze Igniting Love and stamped using Winstonia W120 in China Glaze Scandalous Shenanigans. Check out that blue! I've been holding out on buying Konad Blue since I know there are other blues to stamp with and I feel like I've found the perfect one!

And just a quick reminder, the MoYou London Pinterest contest is still going on so if you could re-pin and like my photo of my Tiffany inspired present nails I would be really grateful! You can vote here and remember, re-pins are worth double so both are super helpful!

Essie Naughty Nautical Water Marble

Happy Friday the 13th! Good thing nothing unlucky happened to me today. Today I have a water marble I did using some of the colors from the Essie Naughty Nautical collection. Summer is almost over and I did really good at not buying a lot of polish, so I decided to get this collection I've been eyeing all summer. I've been playing with them this week before summer ends. For this water marble I used a base of Zoya Purity and marbled using Essie Sunday Funday, Naughty Nautical, The Girls Are Out, and The More the Merrier. They're not uniform like I usually prefer, but I still like how they turned out. I used an orange stick from Winstonia to do the water marble. You can check out my review on the orange wood sticks here.

Winstonia Store--Nail Foil & 30 Piece Orange Stick Review

Hey everyone! Who else started school this week? My first day back to school is tomorrow. Whomp whomp. I should probably start thinking of a mani for tomorrow. Don't want to start school with naked nails! Anyways, today I have 2 items for review from Winstonia Store: a nail foil and a set of 30 orange wood sticks. The nail foil I received did not come with any nail foil glue because they did not carry that item at the time so mine is applied with topcoat. However, they now carry nail foil glue so just keep that in mind. I'll start off with the nail foil and then talk about the orange sticks.

Here's my mani with the nail foil. I tried several different basecoats/topcoats, craft glue, wet coat of nail polish and this was the end result. I almost gave up on getting this to apply. It was a pain and I spent a lot of time getting it to look like this. If I ever spend this much time on a mani I usually have a beautiful mani at the end. I wish I could've said the same for this. Like I mentioned earlier, I did not receive nail foil glue, but that item has since been added to their store.

Onto the orange wood sticks!

The set comes with 3 different sizes and a total of 30 sticks.

Here's a watermarble I did using OPI My Vampire Is Buff, OPI Suzi's Hungary Again, and OPI You're Such A Budapest

Here's the orange stick in action for those of you who are new to watermarbling.

Here I used the orange stick to clean up my flooded cuticle when applying polish

Here I used the orange stick to push my cuticles back after applying cuticle remover.

I was disappointed with how the nail foil worked out. It was my first time using nail foil and I didn't think it was going to be that difficult to work with. I think next time I decide to use nail foil I will only attempt it when I have nail foil glue to use with it. The orange stick set on the other hand was awesome. There was a variety of sizes and they can be used for many different things like watermarbling, cleaning up when applying polish, and cuticle care. I don't think I'll be running out of them anytime soon, but when I do I will definitely order this set. You can purchase the nail foils here for $3.95 per roll. You can purchase the orange stick set here for $2.95. Use code "HEARTNAT" for 10% off of these items until August 31st.

Winstonia Store--3D Nail Art Charms Review

Happy Humpday! Today I have some 3D charms to review from Winstonia Store. I received 2 different designs: heart charms with rhinestones and bow charms with pearls. Check out the super girly manicures I created with them!

Zoya Layla and Color Club Harp On It with 3D heart charms.

China Glaze For Audrey and OPI Liquid Sand Solitaire with 3D bow charms

I applied the charms using topcoat, but if I were to wear them out, I would highly recommend using nail glue instead. Nail glue would help the charms to adhere to the nail better because the charms are large and not all of the bottom surface is flush to the nail. What I did like is that these charms were easy to apply, are super eye catching, and reusable. I will admit that at first when I got them I thought they might be too big, but after putting them on, I really loved how pretty and girly my nails looked. You can purchase a set of 10 3D charms here for $4.95. Use code "HEARTNAT" for 10% off this item until Aug. 31.

Memorial Day Nails

Happy Memorial Day everyone! Today I have a mani to celebrate the holiday and I used my new Winstonia plates. I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and stamped using Winstonia W107 in OPI I Saw... U Saw... We Saw... Warsaw and Konad Red. I wish I had Konad Blue because I had to try so many different blues to stamp with. I'm glad I finally found one that worked! So what's everyone up to for today--BBQ, Memorial Day nails? Whatever it is, I hope everyone has fun and has a mani just as fun.
