OPI Black Onyx & PUEEN 49

Happy Friday! Today I have another mani using my new PUEEN Love Elements plates. I am really loving them! I think I said that already, but I will say it again because they are awesome! My nails are the longest they have been in quite a long time and the images are still able to cover everything. That's including my thumbs because the images are longer AND wider than a lot of my other brand plates. YAY! I do own some other plates with large images, but these images actually come out crisper than those. Ok I'll stop lol. Here's China Glaze With Love and OPI Black Onyx stamped using PUEEN 49 in Konad White.

P. S. I just ordered PUEEN 25F set halfway through this post LOL. I have kind of been going back and forth on both sets and I couldn't resist the other! I LOVE STAMPING haha!

Essie Tart Deco & MASH 29

Good evening my polished pretties! Hope everyone is having a good week so far. I have probably mentioned this before, but a lot of my manis are done on one hand. However, when I am going to wear an actual full mani for at least one day it takes me FOREVER to decide on what to do! It's pretty bad lol. This was one of those, but I really liked the end result. I used Essie Tart Deco and stamped using MASH 29 in Essie Good as Gold. The glitter is China Glaze I'm Not Lion. Can you believe I have had I'm Not Lion for over a year and this is my first time using it. Yeah, I'm kind of horrible... so many untrieds =P How about you ladies, do you have polish commitment problems like me?

(Tart Deco is a bit darker IRL)

OPI Chic from Ears to Tail & PUEEN 28

Hey loves! Today I have another mani using my new PUEEN Love Elements plates. So far I'm really enjoying them and I'm happy I purchased them. I'm always hesitant before trying out a new brand of stamping plates because there's so many brands popping up now. I'll write a review on the plates towards the end of the week. For this mani I used OPI Chic from Ears to Tail and stamped using PUEEN 28 in Konad Black. I really loved how these came out, especially because the diagonal design isn't a common image on my other stamping plates.

Born Pretty Store--Holo Polish #8 Swatch & Review

Happy Friday! Today I have a new product from Born Pretty Store to show you. They now carry holographic polish. The one I chose was #8 (they don't have names, just numbers). Let's look at the swatches!

Here's 3 coats with topcoat. The photos are shown with flash.

The photo on the website of #8 looks like a dark teal, but the one I have does not look teal at all. It pretty much looks like a medium blue color--still nice, but not what I was expecting from the photo. The polish has a linear holographic effect which is my favorite kind of holo so that was a plus. As for the holo effect, I would say it's medium. The Color Club Halo Hues polishes have a stronger effect than this one. The thing I didn't like about it is the size. It's tiny--only 6 ml. They are on sale for $5.59 on BPS, so that's almost the price of a regular 15 ml polish, but you get less than half of that. I wouldn't say you get your bang for your buck, but you get a holo polish with good formula, good application, and moderate linear holo effect. You can purchase the holo polishes here for $8.99. Use my code "NV7X31" for 10% off your entire purchase.

Rainbow Gradient & PUEEN 38

Hey beauties! Today I tried out PUEEN stamping plates for the first time. I have seen a lot of people using these lately and I just had to buy some of my own. I really like the variety of images on them. For this mani I did a gradient using China Glaze Bottoms Up, China Glaze Happy Go Lucky, and Essie In the Cab-ana and then stamped using PUEEN 38 in Konad Black. The accent is OPI Metallic 4 Life. I had originally had all of my nails with the gradient, but during clean up my middle finger sadly got destroyed and instead of redoing the entire nail I decided to just use a glitter polish. What do you ladies do when a nail gets messed up, do you leave it alone or fix it?

Born Pretty Store--Stud Combination Wheel Review

Good afternoon lacqueristas. Today I have a stud combination wheel from Born Pretty Store to review for you. The wheel comes with 12 different kinds of studs ranging from different shapes, sizes, and colors. I was able to create several different manicures with these. I included some new manicures and a couple old ones in which I used studs from this nail wheel.

China Glaze Sun of A Peach and China Glaze I Herd That with some gold bar studs

I really love how these turned out!

Here's an old one I posted here

Here's the mani I posted yesterday and am currently wearing

I used OPI A Definite Moust Have and OPI Black Onyx and mattified them with Essie Matte About You

Sorry for the weird angle, but here's an idea of the different sizes that come in the wheel

Here's one of the larger studs and I will not be using.
I was able to create a lot of different manicures and I will be using this again in the future as it gives me plenty of options. One thing I didn't like is that the wheel I received has 2 different studs than the one shown in the photo on Born Pretty's site. I purchase a lot of things online and I really rely on the photos to be accurate of the item. Another thing is that some of the studs in here are too big for use so I won't be using every item in the wheel. You can purchase this item here for $3.99. Use my code: NV7X31 to get 10% off your purchase.

My Girly 'Man of Steel' Nails

Happy Friday! Really quick post today because I have to be ready to go watch Man of Steel when my hubby gets off work soon lol. Here's the mani I'm wearing. I used China Glaze Bottoms Up and stamped using Fab Ur Nailz Fun 2 in Konad White. My accent nail is China Glaze Glistening Snow. It was actually my husband's idea for me to use pink and white. I love when he participates when I do my nails lol. How about you ladies? Does your boyfriend/husband ever give his input when you do your nails?

The pink is not color accurate. I can never photograph neons right! =/

Nude, Gold, & Coral Gradient Dotticure

Hey loves! Oops I didn't realize it's been a whole week since I posted. It was my hubby's birthday this weekend and I guess I've just been busy with that, preparing for the NCLEX, and other nursing recertification things. No worries though, I have pics of a few manis that I did that just need editing. Here's a gradient dotticure I wore for 6 entire days. I can't remember the last time I wore a mani for that long so I hope that gives you an idea of how busy I was lol. I used a base of OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons and made the dots using Essie Good As Gold and Essie Come Here. This design will always be a favorite of mine. I used this tutorial from Chalkboard Nails. You should all give it a try!

Born Pretty Store--QA28 Stamping Plate Review

Hey lacqueristas! Today I have QA28 stamping plate to review from Born Pretty Store. It has mustaches and lips on it in a variety of shapes and sizes. I made 2 manicures with it. For the mustache mani, I used China Glaze: (L to R) Bottoms Up, Highlight of My Summer, That's Shore Bright, and Too Yacht to Handle and stamped in Konad Black. For the lip mani, I used OPI Innie Minnie Mightie Bow and Chic from Ears to Tail and stamped in Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Presto Pink and OPI Innie Minnie Mightie Bow.

How adorable are these?!

I had no issues whatsoever with getting the images to transfer. As you can see the images all came out very crisp. I liked the variety of different shapes and sizes of everything. There are even mustaches that fit my thumb. The full lip images were slightly smaller compared to other brand plates. They fit my nails, but barely. I really loved the mustaches and I can see myself using the lips again for a Valentine's Day manicure. You can purchase this plate here for only $2.99. Get 10% off your entire purchase with my code: NV7X31.

NCLA Nail Wraps--Review & Tutorial

Hey ladies! Today I have my first NCLA Nail Wraps to review. I received both of these sets from Nail Polish Canada. The galaxy design I have is called "Stephanie's Galaxy" and the pink crystal design is called "Reflect Yourself!" They are not made of nail polish and don't require any heating to apply them. You just clean your nails with polish remover, apply basecoat, apply a nail wrap to your nail, file off the excess, and add topcoat--super easy! This was the fastest mani I have ever done, ever. Each set comes with 2 sheets of nail wraps with 22 nail wraps on each (44 total) and a nail file. You can get so much use out of these especially if you use some occasionally for accent nails.

These are amazing! Love the print so much!

I really loved both of these, but my favorite has to be Stephanie's Galaxy. These were so easy to apply and I can say with confidence anyone can use them. You can purchase Stephanie's Galaxy here and Reflect Yourself here for $16 each.

Also I made my very first YouTube video on how to apply these so please check it out so the time I spent on it doesn't go to waste lol. It took me awhile to figure everything out, but at least I know how to make a video for next time! If you like my video/subscribe it will make me super happy! =]
