China Glaze New Bohemians & Nailz Craze NC 01

Hey beauties! Today I have a beautiful butterfly wing mani that I will be entering into Nailz Craze stamping contest. I used the same method to do my base as I did in my pastel mani. In case you missed it, I used Miss Jen Fabulous's tutorial here. I started off with a base of China Glaze Rare & Radiant and made the blobs using China Glaze: Unpredictable, Want My Bawdy, Deviantly Daring, and No Plain Jane. I stamped using NC 01 in Konad Black. I added dots using white acrylic paint. Clean up was a pain, but I'm so happy with the result!

Snowflakes

Happy Sunday! Today I have a mani to go along with this cold weather! I used a base of China Glaze White Out and then did a white to baby blue gradient using acrylic paints. I stamped using BM 323 in Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Silver Sweep. I added a rhinestone on one of the snowflakes and some round silver studs to jazz it up a bit. I originally had all my nails the same, but I flubbed up 2 of my nails while washing the acrylic paint off of the sides of my nails =[ Don't you hate it when that happens before photos lol?

I also entered this mani in Nail Polish Canada's Holiday Nail Art Challenge. If you like my mani, please vote for me here. Thank you!

A England Perceval and Freehand Nail Art

Hi loves! My previous post was just a swatch of A England Perceval and it was so beautiful I couldn't bring myself to stamp over it. I attempted some freehand nail art on top of it with black and white acrylic paint. I got some acrylic paint last month and haven't really used it, so I'm glad I finally justified my purchase lol. I liked working with the acrylic paint because I was able to wipe off my mistakes with water  and try again until I liked the result. I wasn't sure what I was expecting, but I didn't expect them to turn out so well. I'm kind of proud of myself!
