OPI Show Us Your Tips & MoYou London Pro 06

Happy Saturday beauties! Today I have a quick mani I did to try out my new clear stamper from Fab Ur Nails. I used OPI Show Us Your Tips and stamped using MoYou London Pro 06 in Mundo de Unas White. Pinky has OPI Liquid Sand Solitaire. Now this image didn't need that much help with placement, but it definitely helped. I have a lot more manis coming up that I did with my new clear stamper that make me so grateful to finally have a clear stamper in my life!

Birthday Nails!

Hi loves! Yesterday I celebrated my 27th birthday. I meant to post this mani yesterday, but didn't get around to it as I was too busy stuffing my face with pizza and enjoying the day. I used OPI Purple Palazzo Pants and stamped using MoYou London Happy Birthday 02 in China Glaze Harmony. Harmony is also on my index and my pinky has OPI Liquid Sand Baby Please Come Home.

Bestie Twin Nails--Fair Isle Snowflakes

Happy humpday! I'm debating whether to stop being lazy today and do Christmas nails or just leave this mani on for tomorrow. Decisions decisions! I'll probably do them in a few hours after I finish wrapping presents.

Today I have some holiday themed "Bestie Twin Nails" to share with you. I did these with the wonderful Rei of Reinovate. Of course out of all the polishes we have, we didn't have the same dark blue polish. It's so funny seeing what polishes another nail polish addict has because I end up wondering "how do you not have this polish?!" I used Picture Polish Freya's Cats and stamped using MoYou London Festive 03 in Mundo de Unas 18. The silver glitter is OPI Liquid Sand It's Frosty Outside. Well if I don't end up posting tomorrow, Merry Christmas my loves! <3

(This is darker in person, but my flash makes it look much brighter.)

Yaaaay here's my mani's twin! <3

Wet N Wild Black Creme & MoYou London Fashionista 04

Happy Saturday friends! I can't believe we're already almost halfway through December. This month seems to be flying by. This is my last week of the semester for me and then I'll be on winter break! I can't wait. I'll also be off of work for 2 weeks, which is even better--more time to play with nails!

Today I have a mani I did a couple of weeks ago while I was on Thanksgiving break. I used Wet N Wild Black Creme and stamped using MoYou London Fashionista 04 in Mundo de UnasWhite. The red is OPI Coca-Cola Red and the silver is OPI Liquid Sand It's Frosty Outside. I have to say this is an absolutely perfect shade of red. My husband even asked what color it is because he liked it so much and for him to ask is kind of amazeballs. See ya guys next time when I start sharing my holiday nails!

4th of July Stars & Stripes

Happy 4th of July loves! This is my first "blog manicure" I've done since January. My last post was actually photographed way back in January so taking my pics, posing with a bottle again, & getting my pictures blog ready felt awkward. I feel so rusty! My nails aren't in as great shape as they used to be since I now work over 40 hours a week, but I hope they're still pretty enough to look at! I haven't been able to do holiday nails in a such a long time that after I did these, I felt so happy! For my index I used OPI Coca-Cola Red and stamped using MoYou London Back to the 80's 04 XL in Konad White. For my ring and pinky I used OPI Keeping Suzi at Bay and stamped using MoYou London Roxy 04 XL in Konad White. My middle finger has OPI Liquid Sand It's Frosty Outside. Hope you all have a fun and safe holiday weekend!

Tiffany & Co. Inspired Present Nails

Good morning! Oh man I'm so glad the weekend is here. This week has been really busy. I finally had some time to do a stamping mani a couple nights ago. I've been doing so many swatches lately that I can't tell you how much I miss stamping--my one true love next to my hubby and nail polish of course! I had this mani all planned out when I first saw this image on a MoYou London plate. I used Essie Where's My Chauffeur and stamped using MoYou London Festive 03 XL in Konad White. The silver texture polish is OPI Liquid Sand It's Frosty Outside. I have one ring from Tiffany & Co. and man that packaging really is gorgeous. If you don't have anything from there, you can always do Tiffany inspired nails!

Also, I entered these into MoYou London's December stamping contest for a chance to win some plates. Please re-pin and like this pin. Re-pins are worth double. You can vote for me by re-pinning and liking HERE. Thanks in advance! <3

Thanksgiving Cornucopias

Happy Thanksgiving loves! I just finished this late night Thanksgiving manicure. I missed out on doing birthday nails and I didn't want to miss this occasion too. I have so many stamping plates with images that can pretty much be used once a year so you can imagine how missing an opportunity would frustrate me. I did some simple tan and gold nails with cornucopias on them. I used OPI A-Piers to be Tan and stamped using BM-H13 in Essie Good as Gold. The gold nails have OPI Liquid Sand Honey Ryder. I opted to use topcoat with this liquid sand this time around, but I wear textured polish either way. How do you wear textured polish?

Catching Fire Inspired Nails

Hi friends! I was trying to go to sleep right now, but I can't. Partially because I took a caffeine pill this morning to stay awake to do homework and partially because I'm too excited to share this mani with you. I finished reading Catching Fire about a week ago so I could finish it before the movie comes out. If I could do freehand nail art, I would've drawn a mockingjay pin, but since I can't I got creative. I decided to do a mani inspired by Katniss's wedding dress she wore in her interview before the Hunger Games. I used so many polishes for this mani I don't think you want to know, but I'll go ahead and tell you anyways.

For my index and middle I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and stamped using MoYou London Pro 06 XL in Essie No Place like Chrome. On my ring finger I did a gradient first using creme polishes and then with some shimmery polishes. The colors I used are: OPI All I Want for Christmas is OPI, OPI My Paprika is Hotter than Yours, China Glaze Happy Go Lucky, China Glaze Bend over Backwards, China Glaze Riveting, and OPI Oy Another Polish Joke. I stamped using MoYou London Pro 05 XL in Konad Black. My pinky has OPI Liquid Sand Emotions.

Whew that was a lot of polish! That might be a record for me for most polishes used in one manicure lol. I'm going to watch the movie on my birthday this Sunday. Can't wait! Who else is going to watch Catching Fire this weekend?

Born Pretty Store--15 Piece Nail Art Brush Set Review

Happy Saturday! I'm so happy the weekend is here. That means nail polish play time, football, and catching up on homework. Today I have a 15 piece nail art brush set from Born Pretty Store to review.

The set comes with a variety of different shapes and sizes of nail art brushes.

It comes in this plastic sleeve which you can use to store the brushes in.

Since I have small brushes now, I finally gave advanced stamping a try. It is not as easy as it looks! I'm going to have to practice some more.

I used China Glaze Highlight of My Summer and stamped using MoYou London Pro 14 XL in Konad Black. I filled in the flowers with OPI Pink Friday. The textured polish is OPI Liquid Sand Pussy Galore.

Here's another manicure I did a couple months ago with loose glitter and the big white fan brush. It was my first time using loose glitter, but it was super easy!

I wish I had some art skills so I could draw freehand nail art with all of these different sized brushes. The ones I have used so far worked perfectly and allowed me to create manicures I have never tried before. You can purchase this set of brushes here for $5.96. Get 10% off of your order using code NV7X31.

OPI DS Luxurious & Bundle Monster BM 413

Happy Halloween! How did everyone spend their day today? I relaxed at home with my hubby and we got our favorite snacks and watched a few movies. We decided to watch at least one scary movie and my hubby decided on Sinister. It was good--scary, but not too scary. Not like that terrifying movie The Conjuring that took me a long time to get over because I'm a huge scaredy cat. Here's my Halloween mani that I actually wore a couple weeks ago. I used OPI DS Luxurious and stamped using BM 413 in Konad Black. My ring and pinky have OPI Liquid Sand Emotions. I really loved the black Liquid Sand polish from OPI's 2013 Mariah Carey Holiday Collection. I can see myself using it a lot!

Winstonia Store--3D Nail Art Charms Review

Happy Humpday! Today I have some 3D charms to review from Winstonia Store. I received 2 different designs: heart charms with rhinestones and bow charms with pearls. Check out the super girly manicures I created with them!

Zoya Layla and Color Club Harp On It with 3D heart charms.

China Glaze For Audrey and OPI Liquid Sand Solitaire with 3D bow charms

I applied the charms using topcoat, but if I were to wear them out, I would highly recommend using nail glue instead. Nail glue would help the charms to adhere to the nail better because the charms are large and not all of the bottom surface is flush to the nail. What I did like is that these charms were easy to apply, are super eye catching, and reusable. I will admit that at first when I got them I thought they might be too big, but after putting them on, I really loved how pretty and girly my nails looked. You can purchase a set of 10 3D charms here for $4.95. Use code "HEARTNAT" for 10% off this item until Aug. 31.

Born Pretty Store--2mm Colorful Stud Review

Hey my polished pretties! Today I have 2mm colored studs to review from Born Pretty Store. They are 2mm in size and turquoise in color. I'm loving the stud trend this year! I have mostly been seeing basic colors like silver and gold being used, but I was really excited when I saw a variety of colors like pink, blue, turquoise, orange, and black offered on the Born Pretty site. For this mani I used OPI Can't Find My Czechbook and stamped using BM 319 in China Glaze Adore. The blue glitter is OPI Liquid Sand Tiffany Case. To apply the studs on my nails I used topcoat and tweezers for placement and sealed them in with topcoat. I wore them for a little over a day, went shopping, and didn't lose any studs!

You can wear just a couple studs on each nail, or go nuts on one nail like I did. Either way, they're such an easy way to jazz up your nails especially if you're not great at doing nail art. You can purchase a bag here for $5.84 and this particular color is #2205. Get 10% off of your entire purchase using my coupon code: NV7X31.

Essie In the Cab-ana & Nailz Craze NC 01

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. I know I did! It was my first weekend without any schoolwork in such a long time and I got to spend some time with my family. I also had a chance to do my nails a lot so I'm a happy camper. Here's one of the manis I did over the weekend. I used Essie In the Cab-ana and stamped using Nailz Craze NC 01 in Konad White. The accent nail is OPI Liquid Sand Solitaire. I can't tell you enough how much I'm loving all of the OPI Liquid Sand polishes from the Bond Girls collection!

Born Pretty Store--1.5 mm Round Gold Studs Review

Hi loves! Today I have 1.5 mm round gold nail studs to review from Born Pretty Store. I used Essie Come Here (coral) and OPI Liquid Sand Honey Ryder (gold) for this mani. The studs are nice and small, but big enough to bring  attention to your nails. I really liked them because I didn't have to fuss with their orientation as compared to square studs. They didn't catch on anything and they were really easy to apply. I used topcoat as "glue" and placed them with tweezers. They stayed on well with no issues. I'm definitely going to have to get some of these in silver as well. You can purchase them here for $5.86. Use my code: NV7X31 for 10% off your purchase.

OPI Mariah Carey Collection Swatches

Hi my pretties! Today I have OPI's Mariah Carey collection to show you. There are 4 Studio Shades and 4 Stage Shades. The Stage Shades are the "Liquid Sand" polishes and are meant to be worn without topcoat for a textured look and feel. Onto the photos!

Studio Shades:
A Butterfly Moment

Sprung

Anti-Bleak

Pink Yet Lavender (one coat over Anti-Bleak)--this combination looks so beautiful in person! <3

Stage Shades:

The Impossible--no topcoat

The Impossible--with topcoat. I was only able to get one star onto my index finger, but you can't see it under the 2nd coat =[

Can't Let Go--no topcoat

Can't Let Go--with topcoat

Get Your Number--no topcoat

Get Your Number--with topcoat

Stay the Night--no topcoat

Stay the Night--with topcoat

I love the 4 Studio shades. For the Stage Shades (Liquid Sand) I like The Impossible (pink) and Get Your Number (blue). The liquid sand polishes dry matte and are only minimally gritty, but just aren't for me like that. I'm partial to smooth and shiny nails and I will be wearing these with topcoat. The colors really are more vibrant with topcoat and I love how sparkly they look! I almost passed up this collection, but I'm so glad I didn't.
