Cinderella Inspired Nails

Good afternoon lacquerheads! I didn't want to take my rasta stripe mani off yet, but I don't have anything in the vault to post. When I took it off, I had no inspiration LOL. I decided to do something from my "to try list". One of them was a Cinderella inspired mani by The Nail Network. At least I got to use one of my manyyy untrieds for today. I used Sinful Colors Cinderella and stamped using BM 213 and RA 119 in Konad White.

China Glaze Crackle Glaze Metals - Platinum Pieces

I have another short post for you guys today. I got married last month in Hawaii, so today my husband and I are having a wedding reception for all of our family to attend. I'm getting my hair done right now =] Here I used Metal Crackle in Platinum Pieces over Sinful Colors Dream On. I wanted to include a picture of Dream On by itself, but the formula was hard to work with for me and it looked a little weird =P Maybe I need to have a steadier hand.

Sinful Colors Let's Talk & Nail Foil

What I used for this mani isn't actual nail foil, it's this foil that came from an Easter egg decorating kit. I found the idea from soguesswhat11 and you can learn how to use this method from her video tutorial. The egg decorating kit I got was only $2 at Michael's because I purchased it on sale after Easter. The glue I bought wasn't the same as the one in the video, but I tried to find the next best thing that Michael's carried. I got Aleene's Original Tacky Glue for $1.50.

First, you put on your regular nail polish and wait for it to dry. The next thing you do is apply the craft glue where you want the foil to stick to, and let it dry just a bit until it's still tacky. Then apply the piece of foil onto your nail with the plain/silver side facing down and the color side facing up. The foil will then stick and just apply a topcoat (or two), and viola!

These are what the foil sheets look like. You get magenta, blue, green, purple, gold, and silver sheets.

I used one coat of L.A. Girl Disco Brites in Hustle, but didn't really like how it wasn't shimmery, so I applied one coat of Sinful Colors in Let's Talk on top of it.

Royal Wedding Nails

I'm sure there's tons of people in the nail community doing the same as me this week--Royal Wedding nails! I actually hate how these came out because I used Sinful Colors in Miami Heat and I hate the formula. I feel like it never dries! Unfortunately, this was the only royal blue color I own. Also, I wanted to add crown stamps from BM 08, but for some reason I could not get the crowns to pick up on my stamp =[ Anyways, I used BM 10 for the tips and stamped with CG Passion.

The first picture is the true color of the polish. Sorry I didn't even do clean up, but I wasn't sure I was even going to post pics lol.
