Happy Sunday! Nursing school has been kicking my butt and I have been dying to paint my nails! This mani is the first full mani I wore in 3 weeks! I only got to wear it for a day, but at least I got a lot of compliments on it at work. I used OPI Black Onyx and stamped using MASH 41 (middle and ring) and MASH 43 (index and pinky) in Essie Penny Talk. I hated taking this off, I thought it looked pretty awesome.

Jessica Pumpkin Delight Swatch
Hey lacquerheads! Another short post. This week is never ending. Can't wait to paint my nails tomorrow night. I haven't wore a full mani in almost 3 weeks and have been trying to squeeze in time to make posts whenever I can. Here's a swatch of Jessica Pumpkin Delight from Jessica's Spicy Dream Collection. I saw it first from Scrangie and I had to have it! It is the epitome of fall!

Mermaid Nails
Happy Sunday beauties! I'm super busy right now with my school work so it's another short post today. Here are some mermaid nails using 2 coats of Orly Mermaid Tale over 2 coats of Zoya Ivanka stamped using Konad M34 and MASH 39 in Konad White. Too bad I'm not doing the 31 day nail challenge right now, I could've so used these for the day inspired by a color! I wanted to try the glue base coat on these, but I decided not to because I used Zoya Ivanka before the glitter. Has anyone tried using the glue base coat with some colored under wear before applying the glitter polish? I'm super curious if it works.

Delicate Feathers
Happy Humpday my loves! Today I have a mani I re-created from Pinterest--gotta love Pinterest right? Here's the mani by Tenshi No Hana that inspired me today. I made a glitter sandwich using OPI Don't Touch My Tutu and OPI Pirouette My Whistle and then stamped over it using Konad M77 in Konad White. It came out so pretty and I love how dainty it looks!

Oil Slick Water Marble
Happy Sunday! Today I have an oil slick water marble to show you today. It's one I've been meaning to try. I saw how well the China Glaze New Bohemian Luster Chromes work to water marble from The Polished Mommy and figured I'd use them to create this oil slick look. I used a base of OPI Black Onyx and then used all 6 of the China Glaze New Bohemian Luster Chrome polishes: Deviantly Daring, No Plain Jane, Rare & Radiant, Swanky Silk, Unpredictable, and Want My Bawdy. I tried to make the patterns very random looking and not too much of water marble design on purpose. They came out really cool and they looked even better in person!

OPI Care to Danse and OPI Divine Swine Glitter Sandwich
Good morning! Short post today. I used 2 of my untrieds today to create a glitter sandwich. I used 2 coats of OPI Care to Danse, 1 coat of OPI Divine Swine, and then 1 coat of Care to Danse. I think probably half of my collection are untrieds. I have OCD where I really like to buy entire collections even when I only want a couple polishes. Anyone have a similar issue or am I the only crazy person? I'm betting I'm not!

Born Pretty Store 4mm Gold Square Studs Review
Hey everyone! Today I will be reviewing Born Pretty Store's 4mm Gold Square Studs. I have never used any kind of studs before, but I was excited to try these out. I re-created a mani that The Nailasaurus did here. I used OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons and then added the stripes in China Glaze High Hopes. To affix the studs, I just applied a small dot of topcoat on the spot in which I wanted to place the stud, used a tweezer to place it, and then just added a thick layer of top coat.

Here's how the studs are packaged. There are a lot of studs in the bag so I won't be running out of these anytime soon! |
I really loved using these studs. They're really easy to use and as you can see, you can either use just one or several to create a different look. My only complaint about them is that I have very curved nails and I had a little trouble getting them to lay completely flat on the nail. They still adhere well with the topcoat applied, but I feel like I have to be careful not to let them catch on anything. If your nails are not super curved like mine, you will have no problem with these. Maybe next time I will just apply them straight and see if that helps to make them lay flat on my nail. Something I really liked about them is that they don't dull when you apply topcoat. I sometimes have that issue when I put topcoat over rhinestones, but these still look shiny.
These studs can be purchased here for $5.84.Visit Born Pretty Store for all of your nail art needs. They have free worldwide shipping on all orders! Use my code "NV7X31" for 7% off your order.

Zoya Layla and Orly Flash Glam FX Sashay My Way
Happy Tuesday! Short post today. It's my first day back to nursing school today and I have to leave soon. I'm super bummed I won't be able to do my nails as often especially because we're not allowed to wear nail polish to clinicals. Here's a palette cleanser for me, it's still very bright, but there's no nail art. Very weird for me! Here's Zoya Layla and Orly Flash Glam FX Sashay My Way. I put used China Glaze GR8 as a base for the gold in case I had any bald spots. Glad I used it because I do if you look closely =P

Zoya Purity and FUN2
Hey loves! I'm so bummed this is my very last weekend before school starts again next week. I won't be able to post that often because the nursing program I'm in keeps me super busy, but I promise I will post as often as physically and mentally possible. I think I may actually ask some people to do guest posts, something I have never done before! Anyways, to end my summer right, I wanted to do an awesome mani for you all so I did one I've been putting off--a Louis Vuitton inspired mani! I've used this image before, but with different colors. I used Zoya Purity and stamped using FUN2 in Konad: Yellow, Sky Pearl, Princess Apple Green, Psyche Pink, and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri: Orange Impulse, Lively Lilac, and Presto Pink. If you're interested in purchasing the plate, you can buy it from Ninja Polish or FAB UR NAILS.
